I was brought up with the idea that you simply cannot put a price on quality. I guess you can say that this philosophy is where my passion for top quality artisan cheeses all started.
My name is John Orlandi, and I’m the Deli Manager here at Nature’s Emporium.
You know, I can still recall the days growing up – filled with gatherings of friends and family, beautiful smells flowing out of the kitchen where my mother would be hard at work on a spectacular meal. I can remember that the only thing that kept us out of that kitchen were the incredible cheese-platters everywhere. We’d have cheese from all over the world; friends and family would come bearing varieties from small farms in Italy – it was a treat before the feast.
My love for cheese grew out of those early days. As my interest expanded, I began to seek out and learn from local cheese-makers, taking in the tricks and careful attention to detail that goes into any fine batch. Now, with 5 years of experience working with the best from around the world, I find myself with a great team of individuals all happy to be doing what they do every day. After all; not many people can say that they get to sample artisan cheeses all day, every day, and call that work!
