Family has always been a central part of my life. The importance of family – the value of working together as a team – was always a central priority to my father-in-law, Angelo D’Addario. It was a gift he instilled in me early on. So, after raising my beautiful children, it came as no surprise that I decided to reenter the family business and resume one of my greatest passions: helping others help themselves.
My name is Teresa D’Addario, and I’m the General Manager of Natures Emporium.
Over the years, I have been truly fortunate to help and witness our business grow – from a 4,000 square foot store to the 50,000 foot facility it is today. Throughout all this growth, I have been in the blessed and unique position to experience it all through our incredible customers who continue to make it all possible.
I have always been a hands-on individual, always choosing to work closely with our customers, every day. I suppose this is partly why I felt so strongly drawn to the supplement world. It has been through my role in our amazing supplement department that I have been able to share and help first hand in the personal journeys of so many special people; people who have shared their personal hopes and fears with me - people who have felt comforted by the truly caring and always growing team here at the store.
Whether they were in health crisis, or just exploring the road to general health and well-being, I have always loved supplying our customers with the newest information and education. I have always loved working closely with suppliers, as we search for the latest and best products the world has to offer. It’s all of these reasons and more that make me love what I do every day.
Over the years, our employees and our customers have become like one constantly growing family, and I am now blessed to see my own family’s children – the next generation - working beside me every day, just as Angelo would have wanted. I thank him, and I thank all of you for making it all happen.
